Holme Fell is one of the Lake District's best small hills — a short, steep pull through juniper and birch to a rocky top with Coniston Water, Wetherlam and the Langdale Pikes all in view. From there we drop into the old slate country around Little Langdale and Tilberthwaite and finish in Cathedral Cave, a quarry chamber with a natural skylight that people drive a long way to see. A proper Lakes day without the big-mountain legs.
Anyone who can manage a steep half-hour. First-timers welcome — it's one of the friendliest fells going, and the cave at the end is the reward.
A guided day out — no route-planning or overthinking required. Experienced leaders who carry first aid, navigation and emergency kit, and set a pace nobody gets left behind at. A bottle of water each. And 25% of your ticket to CALM, because Solna isn't just about the miles.
Meeting point: To be confirmed — Tilberthwaite / Little Langdale area. A kit list is sent when you book — you don't need expensive gear to start.
